For a Ramadan family page, choose one evening instead of trying to illustrate a whole month. A portrait, preparations, the table and a quiet moment after the meal can preserve an iftar without turning worship or someone else’s need into content.

For 2027, the SALAM Islamic Center calendar, following the Fiqh Council of North America calculation, lists the first Taraweeh on the evening of February 7 and Ramadan beginning on February 8. Follow your own community’s announcement and local timetable; this calendar does not establish the dates for every community. This guide concerns photo arrangement, not fasting or religious instructions.

Agree on the audience first

Decide whether the page stays in the family chat, goes to a relative or will be public. Choose photographs everyone pictured is happy to include. Leave prayer, sacred texts and recipients of charitable support out of the exercise unless there is a separate, informed reason and permission to document them. There is no need to photograph the exact first moment of the meal.

The practice photographs are fictional AI examples. Unzip the pack for this exercise; use your own photographs and confirmed captions for the version you share.

Step 1: Make space for one evening

Open the maker and choose a 1:1 canvas. Plan a short heading and four frames. One evening’s record needs a date or description of that evening, not a generic calendar promising the same iftar time everywhere.

Step 2: Add the four agreed photographs

Use Photos and Add photos to select the images. Check the originals for private messages, addresses or people in the background. Replace a photograph whose inclusion is uncertain; the page can still be complete with a table detail instead.

Step 3: Let people lead the page

In Arrange, use Freestyle to make the shared-meal photograph the main image. Place preparation, table and after-meal moments beside it. Keep food details smaller so the people remain the subject. Leave a clear strip for the caption instead of covering hands or faces.

Step 4: Keep the evening light believable

Use Adjust if one photograph is too dark to read beside the others, and choose a simple border in Frame. Avoid whitening the whole room until the atmosphere disappears. A legible face matters more than matching every white plate perfectly. If your browser reports that photo adjustments are unavailable, keep the original colors and continue with frames, text and saving; those controls still work.

Step 5: Caption the actual gathering

In Text, add a short phrase such as Iftar together and an optional confirmed date. Use Paper for a quiet background. Arabic wording should be checked by someone who reads it, including its exported order and joining; decorative lettering you cannot verify is unnecessary.

Step 6: Save a private proof

Choose Share in Save, prepare the JPG and download it. Open the file and check the caption, faces and crop. Confirm the agreed audience before sending. A finished file can be kept privately; a collage does not have to become a public post to be useful.

Frequently asked questions

Does a Ramadan collage have to include prayer photographs?

No. A family meal or the work of preparing it can be the entire subject. Respect the household’s preferences about photography and observance.

Can I prepare a page before Ramadan starts?

Yes. Prepare the layout or make an advance greeting using earlier photographs. Wait for the actual gathering before presenting it as a record of Ramadan 2027.

Is an iftar collage the same as an Eid greeting?

They can share family members but have different occasions. Iftar records a meal during Ramadan; an Eid al-Fitr page records the celebration after its end.
