An Easter afternoon often produces dozens of near-identical egg-hunt photographs and no clear view of the whole family. Choose one good portrait first, then three moments that explain the day: preparing, playing and sharing a meal. This page keeps those memories together without making every frame compete.

Western Easter Sunday falls on March 28, 2027, as listed in the 2027 USCCB liturgical calendar. Other churches may use a different Easter date. This example records a family’s afternoon, not a universal account of how Easter is observed.

Choose an afternoon rather than a theme

Use a group portrait, an activity with a child and adult, a making detail and the shared table. Ask the responsible adults and children, as appropriate, about the page’s audience. Check that names, school clothing or the background do not reveal information you do not intend to distribute.

The practice photo pack contains fictional AI examples, not records of a real family or event. Unzip it to try the layout, then replace the images with your own.

Step 1: Begin with a square family page

Open the maker and choose 1:1 in Canvas shape. Plan a clear heading strip and four photographs. If the final destination is a particular print, check its shape before arranging rather than assuming a square will fill any frame.

Step 2: Add the four selected originals

In Photos, choose Add photos and select the files. Compare similar activity pictures and keep the one with a readable expression. A smaller detail from the day often adds more than another distant photograph of the same egg hunt.

Step 3: Keep the group photograph large

Use Arrange in Freestyle. Place the group image on the left and three supporting moments down the right. Keep children and adults clear of the frame edges. Crop the detail photographs for their action so they remain understandable at a smaller size.

Step 4: Balance garden and indoor light

Use Adjust separately on a dark meal picture and a bright outdoor picture. Preserve natural skin tones rather than making everything pastel. A consistent pale edge in Frame can connect the different settings without erasing their light. If your browser reports that photo adjustments are unavailable, keep the original colors and continue with frames, text and saving; those controls still work.

Step 5: Add a truthful family caption

Choose Text for a short heading and an optional confirmed date. Our Easter afternoon is the sample phrase. Use Paper for a calm background; decorations are optional. If the page includes a religious message, use wording the family has chosen and checked.

Step 6: Download and check small faces

Select Share in Save, prepare the JPG and download it. Open it at phone size and check the children in the supporting frames. Enlarge or replace an image if the action disappears. For a print, use Print quality and check the supplier’s crop and a small proof.

Frequently asked questions

Is March 28 the Easter date for every church in 2027?

No. This guide uses the Western Easter date. Check the calendar used by your family or church before adding a date to a greeting.

Must the collage include eggs or a garden?

No. Use the family meal, visit or activity you actually had. The sample’s garden afternoon is one project, not a requirement for the occasion.

Can I make a card before Easter?

Yes. Use photographs already available and an advance greeting. A recap of the 2027 afternoon should wait until those moments have happened.
