A greeting means more when it’s made from your own photos and your own messy, wonderful year. Across cultures, the calendar gives us reasons to reach out — the winter holidays, the turn of the year, a festival night, a family gathering that only happens once a season. These recipes turn those moments into cards and posts worth keeping on the other end.

Whether you’re printing and mailing, or sharing in a group chat, each recipe balances festive decoration with the warmth of real photos — across the seasons, in English, Japanese, and Spanish.

By season and language

  • Winter greetings — The Holiday Greeting Card Collage turns family photos into a festive card to print and send to your whole list. In Japanese, the 年賀状コラージュ brings the same warmth to the New Year card tradition, with family photos and Japanese motifs.
  • Family year-end (Spanish) — The Collage de Posada y Navidad en Familia gathers the ponche, the piñata, and Nochebuena dinner with the grandparents into a year-end card for the family group chat.
  • Summer nights (Japanese) — A greeting isn’t only for winter. The 七夕コラージュ wraps the wish-strips and the night sky of Tanabata into a quiet card, and the 夏祭り・花火コラージュ keeps the yukata, the food stalls, and the fireworks of one summer evening.

Mailing a physical card? Save at full resolution and export as PNG, and lean portrait or square for the sharpest print. Sending digitally? The same file drops straight into a message or a story — no resizing required. Either way, let one real photo carry the greeting; the decoration is the frame, not the picture.
