for birthday cards
Scribble a caption on a favorite photo
Grab a snapshot, scrawl 'happy 30th, kid' in Caveat at a jaunty angle, print it. Two minutes, no Photoshop, a birthday card that actually feels hand-made.
tool · beta · on-device
Three fonts curated for collage-makers — handwritten Caveat, editorial Instrument Serif, clean Inter. Drag, rotate, recolor. Add as many captions as you need. Everything runs in your browser. For bigger designs, use a real app.

what you can make
for birthday cards
Grab a snapshot, scrawl 'happy 30th, kid' in Caveat at a jaunty angle, print it. Two minutes, no Photoshop, a birthday card that actually feels hand-made.
for Instagram stories
Instrument Serif in white at 90px over a moody photo reads like a magazine cover. Stories that look like Kinfolk spreads, made before your coffee is cold.
for postcards
Caveat font + terracotta color + a -2° tilt = a postcard caption that looks like you actually wrote it. Print on glossy 4×6 and mail it from a tiny town.
for memes
Inter Bold at 72px in white with a drop shadow. That's the look. Drag it around until it lands right. Export PNG, post.
for journals
Opening page of a travel journal? Drop the photo in, add the date in handwritten Caveat, add the place name in serif. Print, glue, done.
for quote cards
Take a quiet landscape, lay a quote on top in Instrument Serif, export. The kind of content that sits on someone's Pinterest for three years.
in case you're wondering
No. Everything you type and every photo you drop in stays in your browser. We don't run a server for any of this.
Three: Caveat (handwritten), Instrument Serif (editorial), and Inter (clean sans). They're the same fonts used across collage.recipes — no weird stock fonts, no licensing fuss.
Not in the beta. If you need a specific font, add the text in a real collage / design app — the three here cover the most common collage-making moods.
Text is rendered vectorially into the export PNG at 2× pixel ratio, so it stays sharp on Retina screens and in print.
Yes — add as many as you want. Each one has its own font, size, color, and rotation. Click one in the right-side list to edit it.
