- 02Press “Cut out the subject” and give it a couple of seconds, then check the edges against the original with “Before & after” or the checkerboard.
- 03Download it at full resolution. Nothing is uploaded — the work happens in this browser tab.

Six ways a cutout changes everything
- 01 for collage-makers
Cutouts for scrapbook spreads
Pull the subject out of a phone snap and drop it onto a paper background. You'll get a clean edge that looks like you took scissors to a glossy magazine — without any glue on the table.
- 02 for small shops
Clean product shots
Remove the cluttered kitchen-table background from a product photo before it goes on Etsy, Shopify, or Instagram. The subject stays sharp. Ready for a white backdrop — or any backdrop.
- 03 for stickers
Make a sticker from any face
Cut your cat out of a couch photo. Export as a PNG with transparency. Drop it into Telegram, iMessage, or a birthday card. The model's good at pets and people — eyelashes, whiskers, frizzy hair.
- 04 for profile pics
Swap the wall behind your headshot
Got a LinkedIn headshot with a messy hallway behind you? Cut yourself out, then paste onto a calmer background in your favorite app. The model preserves soft edges around hair.
- 05 for thumbnails
Isolate your subject for YouTube / TikTok thumbnails
Thumbnails pop when the subject is cut from its background. Do it once here, then place the cutout onto a bold color block or gradient in any editor.
- 06 for printables
Prep photos for stickers, postcards, and die-cuts
When you print to a die-cut sticker or layered card, you need transparent PNGs. This tool hands them over in seconds — no Photoshop subscription, no bg-remover paywall.
Frequently asked
Is my photo uploaded anywhere? +
No. The AI model runs in your browser tab, on your device. Your photo never leaves your machine — we don't have a server that handles images at all.
Why is the first cutout slow? +
The segmentation model downloads once — about 105 MB, including the runtime it needs. Your browser caches it, so every cutout after that takes a couple of seconds, and later visits skip the download. The cutout itself runs in a background worker, so the page stays usable the whole time.
What file types are supported? +
JPG, PNG, and WebP — the things your phone produces. Export is always PNG, with a transparent background.
How accurate is it? +
Very good for people, pets, products, and plants. Hair, fur, and fine edges are where it shines. It can struggle with glass, smoke, or heavy motion blur — like any cutout tool.
Does it use my graphics card? +
If your browser exposes WebGPU, yes — that is what makes a cutout take a couple of seconds instead of half a minute. Without WebGPU it falls back to WebAssembly on the CPU, which is slower but produces the same result. The tool tells you which one ran underneath the finished cutout.
Will this work for bulk photos? +
It's a beta single-photo tool. For batch work, a real collage/editing app is the better home. Scroll down for recommendations.
