Four photos. One strip.
Drop a photo into each of four slots, pick paper color, write a caption. B&W mode toggle for that classic mall-booth feel. Print-ready 3"×11" JPG. Nothing uploads — your photos stay on your device. For a full spread, grab a proper app.

Six places a photo strip works better than a single shot
- 01 for friends
A four-frame strip for a friend's birthday card
Pick four photos of you and the birthday friend, set B&W mode, write 'TWO YEARS' in Caveat. Print on glossy 4×6 paper, slip into a card. Photo booth nostalgia, but with the people who actually matter — not strangers behind a curtain.
- 02 for weddings
Faux booth strips for the wedding album
Real wedding photo booths cost $1500. A digital strip for each guest pair pulled from your iPhone roll costs zero. B&W mode hides the lighting differences, four shots of the same couple read as a 'real' booth strip. Print, slip into thank-you cards.
- 03 for prom
A teen-aesthetic strip for a 2026 prom group
Phone burst mode + B&W photo strip = the prom keepsake your kid actually keeps. Drop four pictures from the night, kraft paper, 'PROM 2026' in handwritten caption. Print at CVS for $0.39. Better than the school's official photographer.
- 04 for journals
A strip glued onto a kraft scrapbook page
Photo booth strips are the ur-scrapbook artifact. Cream paper, B&W on, no caption. Print, cut, glue onto a kraft journal page with a strip of washi tape over each frame. The page reads as 'I went somewhere' in a way no single photo does.
- 05 for ig
A vertical strip post that fills the IG portrait crop
IG portrait posts at 1080×1350 want vertical content. A photo strip at 600×2200 letterboxed into 1080×1350 portrait reads as deliberate stylization, not weird crop. Or just post the strip itself — handful of saves guaranteed.
- 06 for kids
A strip from one kid's birthday party
Four photos from your kid's party, color mode (kids' photos shouldn't be B&W), kraft paper, 'birthday' in Caveat. Print 8 copies, hand to each parent at pickup. Better than the photographer-overpriced print release. Faster too.
Frequently asked
Do my photos upload anywhere? +
No. The strip is composited on a canvas in your browser. Your photos never touch our servers — we don't run an image pipeline at all. Open DevTools → Network and watch: nothing leaves your device.
How are the photos cropped? +
Each of the four frames is 4:3 portrait. The tool crops your photo to fit by 'cover' — the photo fills the frame entirely, with the center kept and the edges trimmed. Pre-crop in another tool if you need a specific area to land in the frame.
Why is the default B&W? +
Real photo booth strips are B&W because the original chemistry was. The aesthetic carries that history. You can turn it off — color mode is fine, just less period-correct. Mixed B&W and color across frames is not supported (it's the strip vibe; pick one).
What's the output size? +
600 × 2200 pixels, designed for a 3-inch by 11-inch print at 200 DPI. That sits between a 2×6 wallet strip and a 4×12 album insert. Drop into the Image Compressor if you need a smaller file for posting.
Can I add captions to individual frames? +
Not in this tool — it's intentionally minimal. The strip has one footer caption (and an optional date) so it reads as a unified piece. For per-frame text, run each photo through the Add Text to Photo tool first, then drop the captioned versions into the strip.
Can I make a 3-photo or 6-photo strip? +
Not yet. Four is the classic photo booth strip count and the tool is locked to that for v1. Leave a slot empty if you want a 3-photo strip — the empty frame reads as 'paused for effect' and looks intentional.

One strip is a piece. When you want a whole photo wall — multiple strips, mixed sizes, captions, washi tape, paper backgrounds — a real collage app handles it cleanly.
